Who are we?
  • At KO we craft Fine Silver Jewellery - in designs that will mesmerise you , and perfection that will awe you . Our forte is Pure, Unique and Handmade Jewellery. On our site and at our store you can discover designs from the vast traditional jewellery heritage of India recreated with flawless craftsmanship .
Where is KO Jewellery located?
  • We are located in Bangalore, the Garden City and 'Silicon Valley of India'. We design and manufacture all our jewellery in India.
What are your hours of operation?
  • Monday-Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM. Sundays and Indian public holidays are non working days. 

Where can one experience KO Jewellery in person?

  • Our physical store is located in Bangalore (JP Nagar) with hundreds of designs and constant new additions. Come over, try on the jewellery and avail additional services like small customizations and exchange of silver. Click here to see store locations

Our Jewellery

 What kind of jewellery do you sell?

  • We craft Fine Handmade Silver Jewellery. All our jewellery is 92.5 stamped - it is made with Sterling Silver (where the purity is 92.5% and this is the maximum possible purity that can be attained while making silver ornaments).

  • We focus on jewellery designs from the vast traditional jewellery heritage of India and re-create these with unique,high quality craftsmanship .

  • We also curate bespoke contemporary designs handmade in different regions of India.

  • Certain products may contain slightly less than 92.5% purity of silver , 85 per cent - and this is specifically mentioned in the product description. Also, most of our jewellery is handmade.

Is it pure silver?

  • Yes, the purity is 92.5, the maximum possible purity that can be attained while making silver ornaments.

Do you give any guarantees?

  • Yes we offer guarantee towards purity of silver used in the ornament. Each piece of our jewellery is individually stamped with the 92.5 mark, guaranteeing that it is sterling silver.

What kind of stones do you use? Are they genuine precious stones?

  • It varies from product to product. Most of the the gemstone products have natural semi precious stones, but you can go through the description of the product to verify the quality of the stones used in that specific product.
  •  We also use synthetic gemstones in various colours. Wherever, a synthetic stone is used, it is clearly mentioned in the product description. Please read the product description for all details. Should you have further queries on the product, you may reach out to our customer service team. 

 

    Is the price mentioned for one single bracelet/bangle or for a pair ?

    • The price listed is for one single bracelet/bangle. All our bracelets/bangles are priced as a single piece only. If you wish to buy two - a pair or set please adjust the number to 2.

    For Anklets and Toe rings is the price mentioned for one single anklet/toe-ring or for a pair ?

    • All anklets and toe-rings are sold as a pair on our site and the price given is for a pair or 2 pieces. We do not sell single piece of anklet or toe-ring.     

    What is the kind of tassel provided with your necklaces?

    Do Cuff Links for men have any size?

    • No, silver Cuff links for men do not have any size, they are all made in one size that fits everyone.

    Do you exchange old silver?

    • Only in our retail store in Bangalore (JP Nagar) and provided total weight is above 50 gms. We check the purity of silver in the product and offer an exchange value based on that. You can buy any other jewellery worth that amount, however we do not buy old silver and pay cash.
    • You can exchange your old silver for any new piece of jewellery at our store .

    I have old silver - can I get it to you?

    • Please refer to the question above.

     

      Are the prices of products on your website revised regularly?
      • Prices of the products on the website are subject to change without notice, and can vary from piece to piece, and from time to time, depending on the price of raw materials at the time of production. Gold, silver and precious stones are commodities, with market fluctuations beyond our control.
       
      The price of a design that i saw yesterday has changed today ?
      •  Occasionally, a piece will sell, and then be recreated at a later date with a difference in price. This could happen due to various reasons - as our products are handcrafted it could be due to a difference in the weight of product or even due to the fluctuation in metal prices. This simply reflects the market value of the raw materials and may not mean that we have increased our mark-up. 

       

      Are the rates for the jewellery the same on your online store and physical stores?

      • Yes the rates for our jewellery are uniform across all retail channels .We take pride in the fact that our jewellery is priced responsibly and in a sustainable way. Read more about our pricing policy here
       

      Will you create an ornament with our design for us?

      • Yes it is possible, depending on the style and manufacturing processes involved. If you have a certain design in mind, please send the picture by email info@kojewelleryshop.com or whatsapp us on  +91-9113951814

       

      How long does gold-plating on the jewellery last?

      • The brightness of the gold finish on gold plated jewellery depends on a number of factors like usage, weather conditions ( humid weather dulls gold finish faster) and appropriate storage.

      •  We do not provide any gaurantee for the gold plating on the jewellery. 

      • We advise you to use gold dipped pieces occasionally and completely dry them of sweat / moisture ; along with storage in air tight plastic covers.

      •  If your jewellery becomes dull it can be repolished or gold dipped again at a nominal cost . You need to contact our store or customer care for this.Gold plating is a service for which we charge based on size/weight of ornament and the time taken is 1 week.

      •  We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. 

      • We do not use laquer or other harmful chemicals.

      •  If you wear your gold-plated silver jewellery for continously for a long time, the plating will eventually wear down. To restore its appearance, you can have it re-plated.

      Is there any colour gaurantee for gold-plated silver jewellery?

      •  We do not provide any gaurantee for the gold plating on the jewellery. Our gaurantee is only for the purity of metal used in the jewellery which is 92.5% Sterling Silver. 
      • The colour of gold (on our gold-dipped or goldplated silver) depends on the frequency of usage and how the jewellery is stored.
      • Please note that gold-dipped or gold-plated silver jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used regularly on a everyday basis. With occasional use and proper storage (stored in a dry airtight container when not in use ) the shine on gold-dipped jewellery tends to last longer. 

      The gold plating on my ornament has lost its sheen. What do I do?

      • You can get it re-plated at stores which offer such services. If you are in Bangalore, you can visit our store with a copy of the original bill and we can get the gold-polish done for you at a nominal cost. 
      • Gold plating is a service for which we charge based on size/weight of ornament and the time taken is 1 week.
      • Please note we offer this service only at our store in Bangalore and the jewellery needs to be dropped off at our store physically. We do not offer this service for outstation clients or those who are unable to visit the store .
      • Your product needs to be examined by our staff who will communicate the charges on the spot. Minimum time taken for all polishing is 1 week. Polishing charges are determined by us on a case to case basis.

      My ornaments have turned from shiny white to a blackish color. Why so?

      • Silver naturally tarnishes due to a process called oxidization. There are 2 ways of dealing with this - minimise the oxidation by storing the ornaments in air-tight pouches, and secondly, by gently polishing with a soft, dry cotton cloth.
      • Once cleaned, remember to wipe dry and re-pack in air-tight pouches. For more information and tips please check out our Jewellery Care page. 

      Do you offer repair services?

      • Yes one of the advantages of crafting our jewellery is that we can also repair any piece of jewellery .
      • But please note we offer this service only at our store in Bangalore and the jewellery needs to be dropped off at our store physically. We do not offer this service for outstation clients or those who are unable to visit the store .
      • In order to determine whether your product can be repaired it needs to be examined by our staff who will communicate the charges on the spot. Minimum time taken for all repairs is 1 week. Repair charges are determined by us on a case to case basis.

      Order Process 

      How should I place an order online?

      • Please follow these simple steps:
      1. Select your piece of Jewellery and 'Add to Bag'.
      2. Click on 'Checkout' if you have finalized your order, else 'Continue Shopping'.
      3. Enter your Email Address and Name on the Checkout Screen and proceed for Billing and Shipping.
      4. Enter your shipping details and continue to the Payment Options.
      5. Select your Mode of Payment and Place the order.
      6. You will receive an order confirmation email to the e-mail you provided while placing your order.
    • Can I order by phone?
    • Sure.You can browse through our designs on the website and order your selected design by phone. We can assist you by creating an order for you. Give us a call on our customer care number 91-9113951814.

      Can I order online and collect the jewellery at your stores?

      • Yes, This facility is available only in Bangalore. Please opt for the "Pick up" option under Delivery once you check out , and let us know through whatsapp/email about your preferred time to visit.

      I would like to try on some of your designs from the online store and purchase them. Is it possible?

      • Yes you can. Our fulfillment center is attached to our JP Nagar store. You can come over to this store, try on the jewellery, buy what you like, on the spot. Sweet, right?

      Can I request for real images / video of the designs I like or a live video consultation ?

      • Definitely, we are always willing to assist you in case you want to see more pictures of the product. 
      • In case you want to see live pictures message us (via whatspp on 9113951814 you can do this by clicking on the whatspp icon on the Chat button) mentioning the name of the product you want to see.
      • We are available Monday to Saturday (10 AM - 6 PM) IST. Sundays and Indian public holidays are non-working days.
      • We will share the pictures provided the piece is in stock. Allow us a few hours time to respond to such requests as we may need time to locate the piece or sometimes may not be able to reply immediately due to shortage of staff. However we will get back to you within 24 hrs with the details. 

      Do you have any other websites?

      • No, this is our only website. Please do not be misled by any other websites which might have similar sounding name / website address/similar looking logo. We are not selling through any marketplace like Amazon or Flipkart , so please beware of copycats.

      Do you sell wholesale?

      • Yes we do. We offer  a flat discount of 25% on bulk or wholesale orders . Minimum value to be eligible for discounts is Rs 1,50,000.
      • The discount is applied automatically at the time of check-out you do not need a code for this.
      • Two or more orders cannot be clubbed to avail this discount , it is available only on a single order that exceeds Rs 1.5 Lakh.
      • You may also request custom made products and we can arrange to send you images.
      • Discounts are available on total invoice value excluding shipping charges.
      • Please note - Since we offer volume discounts, we cannot accept returns on bulk orders.
      • All orders must be pre-paid in full at the time of placing the order.
      • Also note that wholesale supply does not include branding support of any kind, like use of our photographs, content, logo, brand name, marketing etc.

      How will I learn about sales and offers at KO ? 

      • We regularly send out newsletters with information about our new arrivals and ongoing promotions and offers. So make sure you subscribe to our newsletter here.

      Payments and Check-Out

      What are the payment options available?

      • Payment Options (Within India):
      1. Credit Cards/ Debit Cards/ Net Banking 
      2. Cheques / Demand Drafts (DDs) OR Bank Transfer.
      3. UPI : Googlepay, Phonepe, Paytm etc.
      • Payment Options for International Orders:
      1. Please note we accept payment in Indian rupees only. No foreign currency payments are accepted on our site.
      2. Indian Credit/Debit  Cards: We accept all Indian cards for payment, please select the first option to pay by card.
      3. BANK TRANSFER: You can make payments through bank transfer from your Indian bank account only. 
      • We DO NOT ACCEPT
      1. We do not accept international cards for payment.
      2. We do not accept transfers from international bank accounts.
      3. We  do not accept payments from Paypal as of now.
      4. We DO NOT ACCEPT money transfers via WESTERN UNION or XOOM, Remitly, Transferwise (these are meant for transfers to individuals only not Companies)
      5. You can also place an order from anywhere outside India and ask us to ship it to an address within India with the advantage of Free Shipping.

        Is your payment gateway secure?

        • Yes, definitely. Our website and checkout pages, all are https compliant, which you can check out in the address bar. We use PayU to process your payments, and their process is also completely private and secure.

        Do you do cash on delivery?

        • No we do not offer COD services. 

        Do you offer any EMI option?

        • No, currently we do not offer any EMI or part payment options.

        If I am unable to place the order online for some reason, is there an alternative?

        • Please mail us  on info@kojewelleryshop.com or send a message via Whatsapp on +91 9113951814, we will assist you.

        I have made my order using the “pay by bank transfer” payment option, but I would like to change my mode of payment to credit/debit card or net-banking.

        • To do this, you need to cancel your earlier order and place a fresh order. We can help you with that. Please write to us at info@kojewelleryshop.com and we will cancel your order.

        My card payment failed. What should I do?

        • Please contact your bank they can help you with this.

        Card payment has gone through, my account has been debited, but I have not received an order confirmation from your side.

        • Please write to us at info@kojewelleryshop.com with the order details, and a screenshot of payment debit. We will check with our bank/payment gateway and resolve the issue. In case we have received the payment, we will create and process an order with your chosen products. But please allow us 24 - 48 hours to check the status and revert.

        Packing/Gift Packing

        How do you pack your products?

        • All our jewellery is packaged in a strong jewellery box and sealed securely. We take great care to package the jewellery appropriately to avoid any damage during transit.
        • All our products pass through our quality assurance checks before we package it and ship it to you.

        Do you offer gift packing?

        • Once you add products to cart , you will see a "Add Gift Options" box on top of the check out tab, click on this and you will see a box where you can write any personal message that you want us to include with the box and we will include a handwritten note on a card just for you. 
        • Save these options and we will include the message and gift pack your order. 
        • You can also ask us to not send a physical copy of the invoice with the parcel if you wish (tick this option in the Gift Options box)
        • Or just  mail us on info@kojewelleryshop.com or message us via Whatsapp  on +91 9113951814 (you can do this by clicking on the whatspp icon inside the chat tab) and we will take care of the rest.

        What kind of Gift packing do you offer?

        We provide specially made jewellery boxes for gifting that are decorated with ribbons and set off the jewellery beautifully. We do not however wrap the jewellery box in gift wrapping paper.

         

        What if I have already made the order and now want to include a message?

        • You can write to info@kojewelleryshop.com with your order confirmation number, your request and the message. We’ll take care of the rest.

        Shipping & Tracking 

        How long does it take to ship my order?

        • For all Ready to Ship products.- shipping to addresses within India, it takes between  2-3 working days for delivery to metros; rest of India 4-5 days ; International Orders 10-15 working days. 
        • For custom-made/ pre- order products, it takes a minimum of  3 weeks to craft the product . After which the usual shipping time applies.
        • We hand craft your order with love and passion and allow you to customise according to your requirements. This means making a new piece from scratch. Since our products are all handcrafted and there are several processes involved right from making the basic structure to stone setting, and gold-plating/ oxidisation and hanging pearls etc making these pieces to your specification will take us anywhere between 2-3 weeks (depending on the piece), after which they will be shipped out to you. So if you have ordered for a custom made piece please be patient and we promise that the jewellery will make up for the wait once it gets to you!

         

        Where all do you ship?

        • We ship to almost anywhere in the world. 

        How much does shipping cost?

        • We offer Free Shipping & Insurance for domestic orders, ie orders being shipped within India and Free International Shipping for orders above Rs 25000. Our international shipping rate is Rs.2500/- for all orders below Rs 25000. Even international orders qualify for free shipping when the order amount crosses Rs 25,000 (approx. USD 385$)
        • Prices do not include custom duty

        Is my shipment insured? (Transit Insurance)

        • All parcels are fully insured by KO until they reach you securely. So you are guaranteed a 100% safe purchase. In case the parcel is not delivered or tampered with we will issue you a replacement once we inform the courier partner and get a response from them.

        Do i need to pay any extra duties or customs charges?

        • Duties and taxes will be applicable as per your country's regulations if any are to be borne by the customer. These charges will be billed separately to you by the courier company at the time of delivery.

        • The Local Custom Clearance, Insurance & Freight Charges (CIF Charges) will be borne by KO Jewellery, however VAT, duties and taxes will be applicable as per your country's regulations and are to be borne by the customer. These charges will be billed separately to you by the courier company at the time of delivery.

          Can i add items to my existing order ?

          • Yes, you may add items to an existing order provided we have not yet dispatched it. We can add the new products to the earlier order and ship them together without charging extra shipping. If we have already dispatched your package, you will need to make a new order.

          Can i change the shipping address on my order?

          • Yes you can , if your order has not been shipped. But in case it has already shipped we may have to recall the parcel and ship it again after (extra shipping charges will be applied in such cases).

          How do I track my order?

          • As soon as your package ships, we will mail/sms you your package tracking information
          •  If you have an account with us log in and check the status of your order. If it says fulfilled, it means your order has been despatched.
          • Once your order is despatched you will recieve a mail from us with the tracking number of the parcel and the tracking URL where you can track the progress of the parcel.
          • You can also track your order on our website by clicking on the 'Track your order' link. Here just enter your 4 digit order number and your mail id to track the parcel. You also have the option of tracking the parcel by entering the tracking number which has been mailed to you.
          • Please make sure you fill in your email id so that we can send you the tracking info. 

           

          What do i do if my parcel is delayed?

          • Our courier partners deliver the shipment to you between Monday to Saturday: 10 am to 6 pm . No deliveries are made on public holidays and Sundays.
          • Sometimes delivery time may be subject to factors beyond our control including unexpected travel delays from our courier partners and transporters due to weather conditions and strikes. 
          • In case there is a delay send us an email at care@thekojewelleryshop.com or chat with us (by clicking on the live chat button) or message us (via whatspp on 9113951814 you can do this by clicking on the whatspp icon inside the Chat tab) mentioning your order number and we will check with our courier partner to resolve the issue.
          • Please stay assured that our team works closely with our courier partner to make sure that all shipments are delivered. Do allow us time to check details and get back to you.
          • Also remember all parcels are fully insured by KO until they reach you securely. So you are guaranteed a 100% safe purchase.

          All shipping costs are non-refundable. 

          I cannot track my order using the tracking number mailed to me, what should i do?

          • Tracking results are available only 24 hrs after despatch, so wait and try to track the order again.
          • If you are still not able to track it please send us an email at info@kojewelleryshop.com or message us via whatspp on 9113951814 (you can do this by clicking on the whatspp icon inside the Chat tab) and we will check with our courier partner to resolve the issue.
          • Please stay assured that our team works closely with our courier partner to make sure that all shipments are delivered. Do allow us time to check details and get back to you. Also remember all parcels are fully insured by KO until they reach you securely. So you are guaranteed a 100% safe purchase.

           

          Some of the products in my order are missing, what do i do?

          • Sometimes if a certain design is not in stock we despatch orders in parts, so if you have recieved only some pieces of your order login to your account on KOJewelleryShop and you can clearly see which products have been fulfilled and which have not.
          • We also send you a mail explaining the cause for delay in sending the products. If you have not created an order with us or filled in your email id message us via whatspp on 9113951814 (you can do this by clicking on the whatspp icon inside the Chat tab)  or send us an email at info@kojewelleryshop.com and we will respond within 24 hours.

            Returns/Exchange/Cancellation

            • We offer a 7 day no questions asked return & exchange policy at KO. 
            • We offer only store credit for returns , we do not offer refund (all sales are final).
            • Return courier charges have to be borne by the customer. 
            • For damage during shipping/incorrect products shipped we will send a replacement once we recieve the defective piece from you, return charges have to be borne by the customer.
            •  Not all products are eligible for returns, many items are "Final Sale."
            • Please make it a point to understand which products are eligible for returns before purchasing. 

            Products not eligible for return/exchange

            • Custom-made products, items that have been altered in any way
            • Products bought during a sale or offer period
            • International Orders are not eligible for return or exchange.
            • Silver articles/coins are not eligible for return or exchange.
            • Any item that shows sign of wear or has been altered, resized (by a jeweller other than KO) or damaged cannot be accepted .

            Procedure for return (How do i return a product?) 

            • In the unlikely event that you are not happy with your purchase, please send us back the jewellery carefully packed to keep it safe from damage, and send it to the following address:

            • Once you send us the courier, please send us an email on info@kojewelleryshop.com, mentioning “Return of Order….” in the subject line. Please mention the names of the products you are returning, the reason for return, and provide us a tracking number for the courier.
            • We will notify you once we receive the returns. 
            • You can exchange an item purchased on KO with another item of same or higher value (paying the difference in price) once we recieve the returned product not before that. However, all exchanges are subject to stock availability.

               

            Do you have reverse pick-up facility? 

            • No we do not have any reverse pick-up option as of now, you will have to courier the product back to us.Return courier charges have to be borne by the customer. 

               What are the conditions? 

              • Returns can be made only within 7 days from the receipt of the order at your end.

              Will you refund the money?

              • No , we only offer a store credit that can be used for a future purchase. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, all sales are final.
              • You can exchange any piece of jewellery for another design, we do not allow exchange of  jewellery for silver coins/articles. 
              • Silver articles/coins are not eligible for return or exchange.

              What if I receive a damaged product?

              • We take great care in packaging our products safely yet if  your merchandise arrives damaged, please mail/ whatsapp us photo of the damaged product within 12 hours of receiving your order. 
              • No claim for damage/ missing product will be accepted without unboxing picture/video that has to be sent within 12 hours of recieving the parcel.
              • If the product is found to be defective or incorrect , we will send a replacement once we recieve the defective piece from you, return charges have to be borne by the customer. 

              Custom-made products

              • We will not accept return or exchange for custom made products or items that have been altered in any way.

              Sale items (if applicable)

              • No exchanges/returns allowed for all products bought during a sale or offer period.

              International Orders

              • We do not accept returns or exchanges for orders that have been shipped to international addresses as the shipping cost is prohibitively expensive.
              • The only exception is if you recieve a damaged piece of jewellery.We take great care in packaging our products safely yet if  your merchandise arrives damaged, please mail/ Whatsapp us photo of the damaged product within 12 hours of receiving your order. 
              • No claim for damage/ missing product will be accepted without unboxing picture/video that has to be sent within 12 hours of recieving the parcel.
              • If the product is found to be defective or incorrect , we will send a replacement once we recieve the defective piece from you, return charges have to be borne by the customer.

              We do not give refunds for any orders, all sales are final. 

               

              How do I cancel an order?

              • Orders can be cancelled only within 24 hours. 
              • If your order has already been shipped we cannot entertain any request for cancellation.
              • To cancel an order, please send us an email at info@kojewelleryshop.com or message via whatspp on 9113951814 with your order number within 24 hours from the time order is placed. 
              • All cancellations are subject to the discretion of KO Jewellery but we always put the customer first.
