Nazaqat - Silver Kundan Jadau Jewellery

The 'Kundan-jadau' tradition of Indian jewellery is a centuries old technique that is a reminder of the rich cultural heritage of India. Introduced by the Mughals it was perfected by the artisans of Rajastan. Color and motifs were the focal point of this jewellery. Geometric designs are repeated and motifs of creepers, flowers, birds and foliage are used abundantly . Large floral motifs with gem centers are common.The techniques used demand great attention to detail and all pieces are completely handmade.
