The Kemp Laxmi Kasu-malai Necklace
This is a traditional south Indian `kasina-hara', `kasu-malai' or coin necklace, depicting Laxmi the goddess of wealth. Crafted in pure silver and dipped in 24-carat gold this kasu mala is made more alluring by the addition of a kemp stone pendant. The coins depict Laxmi sitting on a lotus. Part of the Temple Jewellery collection of KO it is crafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique jewellery. All pieces in this collection are crafted in Sterling (92.5) Silver and gold-dipped in a special process to give them an antique look.
