This is a traditional Lakshmi pendant with Navratna gemstones and `nakkasi' or `nakshi' work (a form of gilt and repousse technique unique to south Indian temple jewellery).The Goddess is flanked by two elephants on her side, a 'Kirtimukha' ( demon-face or grotesque-mask used extensively in south Indian architecture and jewellery) on top and two peacocks below .This pendant is crafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique jewellery. All pieces in this collection are crafted in Sterling (92.5) Silver and oxidised in a special process to give them an antique look.
It can be gold-dipped on request.
