The Golusu Antique Silver Openable Bracelet (Size/2.8)

This is an antique Sterling Silver (92.5%) traditional-design, twisted bracelet from South India studded with `kemp' (red) stones. Traditionally called a `Golusu' bracelet it is made by twisting together solid silver wire with great skill and finesse. Handcrafted using techniques used in ancient South Indian antique gold temple jewellery the entire piece is crafted in pure silver and dipped in 24 karat gold. It is an openable bracelet with a screw. 

For Oxidised Silver

* Store all pieces in airtight plastic covers (this prevents them from
being tarnished or becoming black.)
*Exposed to the atmosphere, all silver is prone to oxidation/ blackening and consequent tarnishing ; this does not in any way signify that the Silver is impure. Gentle rubbing with a silver cleaning cloth or soft cotton cloth will restore the original shine.

For Gold-dipped Silver
*Please note that gold-dipped or gold-plated/ rosegold plated silver
jewellery is meant for occasional use only, it cannot be used
everyday. Gold polish will fade with regular use and frequent exposure to air and water and will need re-plating/polishing.
* All Gold plated ; Rhodium plated ; Rose gold plated silver jewellery
has to be stored in an airtight plastic cover away from
moisture, water and sweat. Proper storage will ensure that the
gold-finish, rhodium or rose-gold plating stays for a long time.
*We gold-plate our jewellery with 24 carat gold which gives it a real gold look. We do not use lacquer or other harmful chemicals.

*Avoid wearing jewellery while cooking, household cleaning,
bathing or swimming .
*Repair and repolish if possible is a chargeable service .
