"Unique jewellery forms are an intrinsic aspect of Indian culture", this is especially evident in the `Thali' or hindu marriage necklace worn by women as a symbol of marriage. There are innumerable versions of it across the country due to regional design influences as well as religious and sectarian affiliations.

This bespoke, one of a kind necklace is inspired by the Chettiar thali worn by Chettiar women of Tamil Nadu. The original design usually features goddess Lakshmi while this necklace is etched with more abstract motifs along with peacocks and the `Kirtimukha' (glory-face or grotesque-mask that wards off the evil) .Crafted using `micro-repoussage' (a form of gilt and repousse technique unique to south Indian temple jewellery) every detail is reproduced with great clarity on the pendant.

The necklace is paired with kempu earrings, it is also available in gold-finish on request.

(Note: The necklace can be bought alone or along with the earrings, prices for both are different and both options given)
