The `Makara' a sea-creature depicted as half terrestrial animal in the frontal part (stag, deer, crocodile, or elephant) and half aquatic animal in the hind part (usually a fish or seal tail,is a classic motif in traditional Indian jewellery and sculpture .These fantastic beasts remind us that life is not perfect, there are demonic forces always at play in this universe.

In this exquisitely detailed sterling silver (92.5%) Kada or bracelet , two 'makara'  heads are seen. Fully handcrafted using techniques used in ancient  jewellery this a striking piece .Traditionally the bracelet was worn by Rajas and given by them to male subjects as a mark of favor.

This bracelet is also available in antique gold finish and the two-tone finish.This is a bracelet that is openable and can fit almost all sizes.This is a unisex design that makes a great accessory for men too.
